You have not a clue to the point where you make all islander fans look bad. Do us all a favor and stop blogging. Thanks. The entire islander fan base agrees with me and say that with complete confidence.

Pleasantly surprised at your new found positive articles about the great season the NYI are having. It so much better for the team too when they hear the fans and the media are also praising their efforts instead of trying to find the little things that are going wrong. Players and coaches know the areas that need improvement but it is about time that the Islanders get some love for their hard work and great play.

Are you kidding me. I would have agreed before this season, actually even at the start of this season, but Dee has actually won over one of her biggest critics; me. People who can only whine and complain about their hockey team are not true fans. We have a name for those type of people in Canada: Leaf fans! Islander fans are better than that.

I agree, especially his one ragging on JT. Seriously, I think Dan just called that one in. Every star athlete goes through lulls; ask Stamkos.

Yea, that article really turned me off as well. The guy missed a bunch of time last season, had a severe knee injury, and his game has looked a little off through the first 30 games, and yet he LEADS THE TEAM in points.

I agree the drop passes are annoying and it would help if he could win some more draws, but JT is still JT and will regain form. I can't wait till he goes on one of his "put the team on my back" modes and everyone will be singing the praises. Relax people, JT will be JT and the isles will be even better.

Now that PK strategy....

I am a huge JT fan the guy is a machine but lets face it his game is off. At this stage its pointing out the obvious. With that said I know he will snap out of this funk hes in. Even though the guy is "off" he is still almost ppg player. Not bad for a player who is in a slump.

Absolutely, it's also clear that he's frustrated hence his little bitch spear to Zidlicky's junk.

Yup. He is making poor choices with the puck, his skating seems off, but his hockey sense is so good he still has 27 in 30.

Point is JT isn't his usual self.....sure he is the best player and elite...but right now he is not playing well....its a fact, we will all be happy when he gets his mojo back....

I'd like to see Strome up there maybe with Lee or Bailey on LW. Move KO from the top for a few games and see how it works. They have a ton of off days here to work on some new combos so let's see what happens.

I just really hope they change the PK from a guy playing monkey in the middle between the point men and the rest of the PK helping screen Halak like three extra forwards, to something that doesn't look like a high school gym class.

I actually stopped being a season ticket holder on hockeybuzz because of Dee. She has written a few good articles in a row and I am just saying that I am impressed. Now as for JT, I coached hockey for 14 years at a very competitive level and JT is not in a slump, its a lull and that happens with all great players and it usually happens when the rest of the team is playing solid hockey. A true superstar will shine brighter when the team around him is not as good.

Why Zidlicky, though? Even considering the hit, it's almost like he wanted to do NJ a favor.
